Happy New Years! I always get nostalgic this time of year so thought I'd let Splinter reminisce with one of my favorite head canons on how the turtles got their color-coded nicknames! I think someone as powerful as Splinter would be able to see the budding Hamato essence in his new turtle sons!

This was the best photo Splinter could manage after an hour of trying and an entire jar of candy canes. And yes they are tied together under that sweater. Happy Holidays everyone!
