Thru-zero cross / circular FM with 2 @joranalogue Generate 3 oscillators. I find myself always coming back to FM, reviewing the concept, experimenting…This morning, I was studying thru-zero FM & reviewing how the carrier & modulator relationship gets swapped.

For the first time ever, I tried to arrange my patch cables in a way that left most knobs & switches physically accessible & visually clear. This took way too much time, so I’ll prob only do this for tours such as the upcoming UK +EU tour with Zevra (4tet w/ Niloufar Shiri, Jonas Engel, Fan-Qi Wu).

Ecstatic to announce our new quartet, ZEVRA. Formed at Art Omi: Music 2025 residency in New York, the group consists of Niloufar Shiri (kamancheh), Fan-Qi Wu (pipa), Jonas Engel (saxophone), and Matthew Ryals (modular synthesizer). This April, we're embarking on our first tour across the UK and EU.

Yesterdays nyc sidewalk haul
I hit the ground running upon returning home and started working on a new dance commission today✨
While on the road, I was staying at someone’s place & fainted in their restroom falling through a glass shower door. It was a traumatic experience. I got seen by the Dr today & everything seems fine, more tests to come. Just a case of the old Vasovagal syncope. On the + side, I had this for lunch:
