-yes, thinking colored drinks WILL stain unless you brush your teeth soon after, and you WILL have strange little white marks where your brackets are. Best practice is to drink clear liquids only, or if you do drink something that could stain(coffee, tea, soda) brush soon after.

I didn't have them long, but here's the things I learned and ended up getting mine off early because of what I did:
-do not bite hard things(carrots, apples, etc.) as they will break the brackets off and cause problems. It's not worth having to go get them fixed
