It feels like every civilian on the planet right now could be a sleeper agent - times truly are wild

Tony Scott’s “Domino” has been a fave of mine since its release. Still love its pulp, grungy, and icky depiction of the gross parts of an industry contrasted with an outsider’s perspective of the same industry. Electric cast, lead by Kiera, and Tony being full Tony. Grade impossible, too subjective.

E06 was amazing. Series 2 has had some ups and downs but the cast still totally rule.

Final Destination: Bloodlines is dope. It rules. The end.

Roadhouse (2024) is a legitimately rad film. It holds up to repeat viewings, and Jake Gyllenhaal is electric - as are a lot of the cast around him. I don’t have any opinions or understand the history behind some cast members, but it was a surprise when I caught it on streaming last year. Recommend.

TLOU S2 is, so far, incredibly well written and acted. Wasn’t sure they would go as bold as the end of E02 but glad they did. Solid work by everyone involved. 🤩

David Lynch’s passing was a freight train. His talent, warmth, open-mindedness, and steadfast unwillingness to explain his oeuvre is a huge loss to the world. I feel blessed to have experienced his art. Condolences to all family and friends.

Good to see the migration over to here, that other platform is a very dystopian digital wasteland

GDevelop is packed with so many features that it’s similar enough to other engines but far enough away that it’s still very accessible to hobbyists. Loving it.

The Menu and Triangle of Sadness are incredible 2023 take-down films, and they each offer their own unique uncomfortable ickiness and are simultaneously amazing films and uncomfy films to watch. Love them.

Saw “Godzilla Minus One” - an incredible film, loved every second of it. Jaws, by way of Neon Genesis Evangelion and Interstellar. Stunning!
