I've gotten older once again.

In case I forget to make the Princession post. It was pretty good. Not as good as Precure in some areas like design, animation and character appeal, but better in terms of character depth, story, and music.

Ah! That makes sense, i haven't really talked about Re:Zero much.

These are unrelated to the 3, the 3 seasonals i'm watching are Needy Streamer Overloard, Re:Zero S4, and Akane-Banashi.

I can't actually pay attention to Needy Streamer Overload because every time they show something Toku-inspired it sends me into a deep rabbit hole trying to find what it's based on.

Only 3 anime caught my eye this season, so I decided to pull these two out of my backlog. Thunderbolt Fantasy S4 has gotten good (well, CR) subs, so may as well, and Amagi Brilliant Park for no reason other than i feel it in my bones. Time to find out why she keeps that gun under her skirt.

For a long time I've always had this idea to draw the mcs of all the anime seasonals I watch in a collage each season but I never do it cause I'm lazy. This isn't that, but it's close. The idea came to me cause i've had the final opening of FF playing on repeat since yesterday.

2 months later and i've actually done a new drawing I can say I put actual effort into. Representing my 3 favourite anime from this season. Tojima from Tojima Rider Cour 2, Shinra Banshoman From Fire Force S3, and Aqua from Oshi no Ko S3. Aqua probably came out the worst but overall it's aight.

Fire Force S3 2nd Cour - KAMI OKOSU KAZE! HOH OH OH! Truth be told i fell behind by like 4 weeks on a lot of these shows and had to catch up, which will affect these rankings, but man this was good. Apart from the Tamaki episode being a bit on the nose, this is PEAK SHOUNEN! 8/10

Vigilantes S2 - Not a bad season by any stretch, however definitely a bit of a letdown compared to S1 in terms of interest. Especially considering some of the best episodes were basically misplaced main series episodes. Hopefully they get to finish adapting the manga. 7/10

Strange/Fake - Another anime this season with another amazing best girl. 00 scared me because I wasn't really a fan of Flatt but luckily he gives a better impression in the full show, and also isn't there that much. Pretty good for my first Fate anime. 7.5/10

Yushakei - Came for Teoritta, stayed for what is a pretty interesting fantasy setting and plot dynamic. The idea of a protracted war against a virus-like "Demon Lord" is pretty cool, and they do a decent job exploring the tension in that idea. Praise to Teoritta. 7.5/10

Oshi no Ko S3 - Even for Abiko alone I'd give this a high score, but that aside, it's more of what I've come to expect from Oshi no Ko. Interesting looks into how the entertainment industry works interspliced with a compelling revenge story. Good stuff. 8/10

Toujima Rider 2nd Cour - HOLY SHIT what a fucking comeback. Idk if the show actually got more interesting or if my brain just finally clicked with it but man this was actually really fun. It had just that right level of random bullshit that was really appealing. 7.5/10

Mitaka Asa and her Cellular Phone

Chainsaw Man Part 2 - Man what a disappointment. Part 1 is the reason I'm reading more manga today and yet Part 2, while good up until the falling devil arc, began to fall short after. Still interested to see what Fujimoto does next but this is him at his weakest. 7/10 overall.

...I would've had if I was smarter and more attentive. The animation was great, the directing was interesting, but not being able to follow it made it less engaging than it might've been otherwise. I'd recommend it, but I can only comment from my own experience, so... 7/10 (2/2)

Shibou Yuugi - I feel ill-equipped to rate this. From early on I could tell a lot of the deeper stuff was going over my head, and because of that I'm not truly experiencing everything the show has to offer, but I also can't assign a rating based on a theoretical experience (1/2)

Cosmic Princess Kaguya - Very good animation, very cute girls, and pretty heartwarming, but it also felt disjointed. It feels like showing off flashy, creative animation was the main focus ahead of the story, which left some parts felt underdeveloped or out of place. 7/10

Kimi to Idol Precure - Or "You and Idol" I guess. Pretty good. Better than Delipa imo, had good characters and strong moments, especially the ZukyoonKiss arc, but fell flat in a few areas and the final arc didn't feel that exciting. Still glad to have watched.
