A study based on tree rings claimed that droughts played a role in events that led to the Roman withdrawal from Britain, but other researchers say that isn't backed up by historical evidence

Testing Clay Bodies for Tea
Side by side comparison of the taste of tea in different clay teapots. It is clear that unglazed clay has an impact on flavour, colour and aroma. My personal results.

Isotope analysis of medieval Cambridge skeletons indicates that social status strongly influenced diet, with wealthier individuals consuming more animal protein than poorer townspeople.
Terribly misleading headline. I suspect the cost is more to do with "Technical challenges in uncovering the River Sheaf have been the other main reason for the programme extensions and cost increases"

The picture shows six needles of different sizes. They were made of bone resemble their modern descendants with an eye at one end and a tapered end.
Things used in everyday life are the real archaeological treasures! These sewing #needles were made from animal bone some 15,000 years ago. Some designs simply don't need to be improved, because form and functions were perfectly matched from the start. Form follows function! ๐งต1/2
