A great start to the day meeting with colleagues from @iterc.bsky.social
It is wonderful to be part of this group who are all passionate about teacher education/education. Inspiring! Thank you all!
Last week I had the privilege to work with brilliant colleagues and friends at Uppsala & Mälardalens Universities, exploring Latour’s modes of existence and HE pedagogies. An inspiring trip; I look forward to our continuing work. #STS #educationresearch @iterc.bsky.social

We welcome those curious avout the collective’s work to contact us and remind current members to tag this account so that we can share the work of the collective in all its different forms.
The collective has produced a number of conference symposia and presenations, applications and publications, including this edited volume.
Another edited volume is underway, as well as an authored book by some members of the collective and a special issue in a peer reviewed journal.
Some of the key words that have been at the centre of the collective’s activities have been solidarity, collegiality, creativity, criticality, and discomfort. Among the primary issues has been a critical perspective on education politics, internationally, especially as regards teacher education.
The collective is not organised around a central leadership, but there is a coordinator team. Otherwise, participation is on individual terms and interests where activities are usually planned by smaller groups of members. Hence, the network is dynamic in terms of both activities and focus areas.
ITERC organises several types of activities. Aside 2-4 general online meetings per year, we have smaller groups working on research, funding applications and publications. We also participate in conferences and organise reading groups with focus on specific books or theorists.
Perhaps it would be wise to present this account. The International Teacher Education Research Collective (ITERC) is a network of researchers, teachers, and students with a particular focus om teacher education. The collective has members on five continents and around 20 countries and is growing.
