Baby has norovirus and has been vomitting all day. Send prayers that I somehow miraculous avoid catching it even though he has vomited on me and then wanted to be held to sleep with his face breathing directly into mine

Going through my baby's newborn stuff to sell / giveaway and 😭 why am I having a hard time letting go of these tiny clothes !!

Yes absolutely!! THAT would have turned my sadness into RAGE

I'm sure someday my child will be the meanie but right now he's just a happy excited 2 year old and I was so hurt lol

I know! Luckily the mom was nearby and admonished him and later while the kid was occupied with something else, she let my kid play w the car. When the kid came and protested his mom said, "well *im* playing with him" and was very kind so I felt better. But I was really sad when he was so mean!

I think it's more heartbreaking bc they are so little and wholeheartedly excited and have no idea yet that other kids can be mean! Like you're about to ruin this little innocent baby 😭

Baby didn't understand but I did and I almost cried??? 🥺

Was NOT prepared for how 💔 I'd feel to hear an older kid yell at my toddler, "You can't play with me!" Baby had been excitedly chasing a remote control car this kid and other older kids were playing w in the playground. The 6 yr old stopped baby and said "*You're* not allowed to chase it!"

Yes even at 2 I have a "explain everything to me and it better make sense" kinda guy ...

Yes! Those are all actually the same letter viewed from diff POVs 😩 we haven't started lowercase letters but I anticipate it being an issue

It is terrible when you have fixed your jetlag but your toddler has not 😩

Signed, a former night owl and mom of a toddler who has woken up for the last week at 2am, 3:30am, 4:30am, 5:30am and FINALLY TODAY at 6am

Also we have daily confusion between 6 and 9 - he tilts his head upside down each time and asks "6? 9? 6? 9? Upside down?"

I'm sorry child, it is all very confusing for no reason at all!

My 2 year old is learning his numbers and alphabet and every day he points to 0s and Os asking me "zero? O? Zero? O?" And while I explain that it's a zero when it's a number but an O when it's a letter, I realize this is the beginning of a lot of absurd language things I'm going to have to explain

and then just as things ramp up, we are suddenly switched to the POV of the prey and sympathize with them and suddenly remember that the sharks are, in fact, predators, no matter how relatable we initially found them. If that's not art, what is? 😂🦈

Having listened to Baby Shark now hundreds and hundreds of times, I must say that the surprise POV change in the second to last verse is quite genius. We spend the entire song following the sharks, in their POV, meeting the whole family, going hunting with them...

Have arrived back in Taiwan and can feel my papery skin rehydrating, like dried fruit plopped into water
