Technically this whole song, but especially at 3:41 thru the end of “Here comes the flood” by Peter Gabriel.

I came here to post about the same moment.
The final pre-chorus & chorus of “Let Down” by Radiohead.
White soled shoes are stupid.
White is the worst car color.
I love this movie. It should be way more recognized for its awesomeness.
So after some research, I’m guessing it’s called the “Assembly Cut”, simply because Fincher didn’t want it called “Director’s Cut” as he was never happy with any edit of the movie. It’s probably closer to what he originally wanted. It’s based off an early work print, with updated Vfx, sound, etc.
Interesting- I’ll have to check this out.
This can’t be good - By definition an Assembly Cut is just the first edit, to show the director for the first time. no Vfx, only temp score if any, just scenes cobbled together in order with little consideration of overall pacing. Fincher hadn’t even worked with the Editor yet.
Think of all the time I wasted in my youth watching mid shows like “Major Dad” or “Empty Nest” or worse, “Wings.”
Sigh
This makes total sense, and I’m reposting it so I can remind myself this for the next t few years
#NoKings at San Francisco’s ocean beach — protesters joined to form a human banner saying Trump must go now.
Similarly, I have a “lost in translation” shirt that’s the same camo T-shirt Bill Murray wears (and Scarlett tells him it’s too much so he turns inside out). If you turn mine inside out it says “Lost in Translation”.
That’s quite a deep RHCP reference. 80s RHCP. Bravo.
Rock Lobster.
Rock Lobster!
Did you butter the bread?
The best oysters I ever had were BBQ’d at a campfire. Before then I didn’t understand why they were a food at all, every other time I tried them, no matter how fancy the setting was almost vomit-inducing.
Why eat them raw when it’s arguably the worst way to prepare them???
Drop a gif you can her
I know a little about video production budgets, and if I had to guess a ballpark figure, it would be about $100K for that ad, maybe 200K if they grossly overpaid for the music licensing and the above the line talent. Most of it is news and stock footage which is about &1K a piece on the high end.
I once taught a deaf guy to play drums for an on camera performance.
Well, there goes any chance that blue sky will be fun today.
Again.
How this weirdo bass virtuoso became popular playing avant garde jazz fusion music is simply astonishing. It makes no sense, but I am SO HERE for it.

This movie is so messed up.
Seared into my memory.
Have all the proposed buildings been blocked so far?
Done.
