It's a super one, Shannon.
Their roots need to establish first. You may only get sparse growth this year and likely no blooms.
Next year they will probably flower π€
That's wonderful. I sometimes forget that these flowers grow wild. I'm so used to them being ornamental blooms here in the UK.
FYI...

Pink Fizz, Etoile Violette, Arabella, Nelly Moser, Mme. Julia Correvon π

These beauties should all hit around the same time, early May. Can't wait.
Looking forward to seeing how your blooms do π
Thanks, Joy.
It was a lucky find at a trade nursery π
Yes, I know I've been posting about this fab Clematis 'Emerald Green' for the past few weeks, but it's literally - blooming amazing.

Acer 'Deshojo' in its deep-red spring colour.
I don't know what it was about the light during the sudden hail storm we had this evening, but our Acer 'Deshojo' looked incredible.
Photo does not do it justice.
Oh, indeed he will π
Cool upgraded front garden.
I've given the front garden an upgrade.
I've replaced an old, woody, and overgrown Lavender 'Munstead' hedge with the less invasive 'Hidcote' variety.
I've underplanted this with Geums, grasses, Potentilla, Polemonium, Osteospurmums, and more geraniums than you can shake a stick at!

Epic doesn't do this justice.
I knew this was going to be spectacular when I bought it.

Plants being laid out on a new front border.
I'm giving the front border a planting makeover.
I've removed the old, very woody lavender hedge.
There's a smaller hedge on the way, but while it's growing, I've added some intermediary plants for an immediate wow factor.

Collage of Clematis 'Emerald Green' flowers.
I'm so glad I made this impulse buy.
Clematis 'Emerald Green' now becoming a carpet of flowers (if you can call it a carpet when they're having vertically on your green wall).

Happy #RoseWednesday πΉ
Thought I'd share a few rose photos from last year π
Something has been in the works for a while.
A completely rebuilt website. New structure, new content, new design.
To get it right I went to the other side of the world and worked with Studio1 Design in Melbourne, Australia.
Launching in a week or two.
More soon.
Thanks Joy π
Clematis 'Emerald Green' flowers.
The flowers are popping.
Still early days yet for this wonderful ground-cover Clematis but it's looking good already.
It's adorning my green walls and cascading down in a swathe of flowers.
It will be spectacular in a week or two π€
Collage of red flowers. Left to right, top to bottom: Bellis Daisy, red tulips, Ranunculus, Hellebore, Erysimum and Camelia
Continuing red theme for #SixOnSaturday.
I'm rather loving the deep reds and burgundies in the garden πΊπΉβ€οΈ
Collage of photos of Erysimum 'Blood Red'
I'm a bit late to #FlowersOnFriday this week.
I thought I'd do a monoculture special as this fabulous Erysimum 'Blood Red' is to die for! π€©πΊ
