It’s crazy how many ways the aiming jobs could go!! For BRD You could lean into the bowmanship with Ivara or the musicality with Octavia. Or hell, Temple. For MCH you could lean into guns with Mesa or devices with Vauban or Protea. DNC could easily be Octavia or Gyre!

And tbh I have NO idea what the GNB frame would be. Who is bodyguard coded in WF?? Lore-wise, all I can think of is Gara (and Protea but she's more analogous to MCH if anything).

Durviri Teshin shows up to be the questgiver and guide. New War Ordis is there to be the funny mascot juxtaposed with Teshin who makes puns and glitches at you, narrowly avoiding an f-bomb at least once. Idk! I think the Zariman-Duviri-Undercroft corridor would be a neat story framing device.

So, SAMs would get Excalibur, RPR gets Sevagoth, PCT gets Follie, WHM gets Trinity, etc. This will never realistically happen. 🥲

What's more likely is a XVI-like crossover event where everyone is locked into a 1-on-1 "Assassination" duty as Excalibur against uhhh. I don't know. A Corrupted Jackal.

I don't have a very good story framing (ha) for it, but my pipe dream Warframe crossover would consist of an 8-player trial where everyone is assigned a frame thematically parallel to their XIV job and is limited to four buttons with an XIV version of that frame's abilities during the fight.

MSQ provides a nice power fantasy when I'm in the mood for that, but power fantasy isn't what I crave most.

What's your place in the world when your hear tell that the world is ending every couple of years and you have to pray that someone (that the powers that be have determined is of more cosmic importance than you ever will be) will save the day yet again?

I enjoy the MSQ a lot! But my favorite stories are about the people that exist in the immense wake of the big damn hero. I like exploring what life is like in a setting where monsters are out there and magic exists but is not accessible to everyone, and what that looks like for different people.
