If collected and sold, the amount of grass on the pitch would still be well under the threshold of personal use, if it was of the narcotic variety and would equate to about ÂŁ3.20 in street value.
The afternoon looked doomed upon a first glance at the pitch. I shouldnât really have to describe the terrain on which a top-level football match took place, but it made that thing Kilmarnock play on look like centre court on the opening day of Wimbledon.

The day got better from there. Itâs a leap to say Hearts have run out of gas, but they are certainly starting to stutter. Theyâve flung a lot of punches and weâre still standing.
The strong will and defiance displayed at Ibrox(x 2) has calcified the team spirit. Itâs also brought them closer to the support and that was evident on Saturday. The reciprocal, transactional relationship is now understood further by those that are only here for the time being.

An intriguing, latent subplot for this Saturday is that JBA is widely tipped as the Celtic manager in waiting. The susurration is loudening and Parkhead is as good a place as any to hold, what is tantamount to a real time audition this weekend.

100%. Have a new found respect for a lot of the players. Resolute performance and enjoyed the personality shown by a few off the ball, going down the tunnel etc.
Itâs no bad thing if our players dislike that lot.
After so much change, uncertainty and incompetence, this would be where the tumultuous season finally reached its premature conclusion. When the camelâs back finally broke.
Well, thatâs not what happened.
This was billed as Celticâs event horizon. Four fixtures in 10 days, all away from home, all with their unique challenges, but ultimately a bridge too far for this brow-beaten, beleaguered and under resourced group of players.

Reo Hatate is in no way a âwater carrierâ type midfielder, but his introduction seemed to completely hydrate the rest of the team at Ibrox. The Japanese midfielder has seemed redundant lately. Enervated and dulled, less inquisitive with the ball.
