Yes â âThe older I get, the more I realize, I donât want a busy life. I want a deep life. Slow mornings. Focused work. Calm people. Meaningful progress. Good books. A quiet mind at night. Nothing flashy. Nothing trendy. Just a life that feels good to live. Depth over noise. That'll do.â Karun Pal

Agreed! I saved so many quotes that I felt I was growing alongside Taran. đ
Itâs a lovely story I wish I had read as a child
Thatâs wonderful! I wish I had read this series as a child. I am enjoying it very much and Iâm excited to see how it ends
I finished this book today and, even though this might not be the most exciting book in the series, I loved following Taran in his quest to know himself. Next up, The High King. đ
âLifeâs a forge!â cried the smith, as Taran, his brow streaming, beat at the strip of metal. âYes, and hammer and anvil, too! Youâll be roasted, smelted, and pounded, and youâll scarce know whatâs happening to you. But stand boldly to it! Metalâs worthless till itâs shaped and tempered!â
âIâve heard men complain of doing womanâs work, and women complain of doing manâs work, but Iâve never heard the work complain of who did it, so long as it got done!â
âDid I ever think a weaverâs shuttle a light burden?â Taran sighed.
âItâs not the shuttle that burdens you,â answered Dwyvach, âbut lack of skill, a heavy burden, Wanderer, that only one thing can lift.â
âWhat secret is that?â Taran cried.
But Dwyvach only smiled. âIt is patience, Wanderer.â
A hand holding out a copy of Lloyd Alexanderâs book, âTaran Wanderer.â
âCraftsmanship isnât like water in an earthen pot, to be taken out by the dipperful until itâs empty. No, the more drawn out the more remains. The heart renews itself, Wanderer, and skill grows all the better for it.â
Nice! I love these! Reading #4 now.
Such a great story! đđ»
Thank you!! âșïž
