We were almost in agreement. Davidson can absolutely apologize for something that he said that hurt others. It's become clear that its not something you'll ever understand, and that's fine. Understanding isn't a trait we expect in an enemy anyway.

Words have meanings. By definition of ableism it requires discrimination, therefore you are again, incorrect, it's the relevant part. Also, if you received that I'm blaming John for his tic, then you never comprehended my statement to begin with and chose to argue your feelings vs what you imagined.
My third sentence "apologies should be made for the offense itself" means that I don't blame him for the tic or involuntary actions. We acknowledge that he can't control it. That doesn't mean that what he can't control doesn't cause harm on occasion. If/when harm is caused an apology should be made.
