What a beautiful time we had for the last several weeks at Opéra national de Paris in Valentina Carrasco's brilliant production.
I'm not quite ready to close my 'Nixon' score, however...next stop: Boston for excerpts of 'Nixon in China' with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, ✈️

100 years ago yesterday, Alban Berg's 'Wozzeck' had its premiere in Berlin. The title role of 'Wozzeck' came as a late debut role for me, but the time needed to learn a score that complicated and rich was warranted. I had the great honor of singing this role at the Met in 2014.
