This is all just a set up. Most productive council in history, most diverse, and people who just work really hard for our neighbors. We get made to be punching bag to tee up for the charter amendment on the ballot to strip council power and in turn constituent power. Don’t fall for it.
Thanks to @taylordahlin.com for covering our press conference and picket with Cardamom workers!
These workers stood up to DDP and demanded that he adopt measures to protect workers against ICE at the height of OMS by engaging in a 3 day strike. Then he fired them and replaced them with QR codes.
Why are so many restaurants closing under the reign of Elizabeth Shaffer??? Things were supposed to be different.
The head of the FBI isn't supposed to be getting blackout drunk. He's supposed to be cross-dressing
headline: gen z doesn't want your full-time job. They want several part-time roles, and it's reshaping the entire workforce.
This is propaganda.
Can anyone explain to me who worried that trash pickup or city water delivery would have been interrupted by the ICE invasion?
And what mechanism/scenario they envisioned that would lead to those outcomes?
What is this video talking about???

As a server in a full service restaurant, elbows really do get in the way, but if you’re not being served I think it’s fine.

At recent meetings, the Minneapolis City Council has taken time to read and acknowledge resolutions of solidarity from far away city councils, and I hope they wrote back to tell those cities to stop wasting their fucking time.
Amazing. Also, so glad I sat this one out, lol.
Same thing happened last year with Frey in progressive precincts. Although I wouldn’t have characterized them a sneaky, just not viable, lol.
Tell me again about what happened in Minneapolis this Winter?
“These cases are, of course, different in very meaningful ways. Yet both men have been central figures in the modern food system, operating from opposite ends: Redzepi in the world of fine dining; Chavez, among the laborers producing the food that ends up in the world’s kitchens.”

Good.
Happy St. Patrick's Day, New York.
A person in a suit is seen from the waist down, wearing shoes that are noticeably too big.
In recent months, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy have all been photographed wearing shoes that look a half-size or so too large for them. It’s an affliction — and not one relegated to the Trump administration. nyti.ms/476cwGN
