To all the professors who wondered why I didn't replied their emails in the past 8 days, I hope I could tell them about the current state of my country which my family and I are going through: more than 210 HOURS of the internet blackout, and at least 12000 of my people who got kiled brutally.

As I'm looking for a PhD opportunity, crossing out all the US universities' names from my list despite all they offer wasn't that easy as I thought. My friend and I just removed their names and won't apply again, only because they don't accept Iranian students.

Dozens of late nights, two great summer internships, and finally one thesis. I’m happy to share that I’ve completed my Master of Arts in Philosophy of Science at Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic!
I planned to apply but one of the requirements is ielts 7. Mine is 6.5 due to moderate hearing loss (between 40 and 50 percent and it only affects my listening skill there!). I don't know if this is considered a disability in your eyes but I would be glad if have a chance to apply.
