Agreed. That system is good against teams looking to dominate us but nullifies Jedi when against a low block and limits the striker, who is isolated against big and sat-back defenders - often three of them - and our attacking midfield hasn’t posed enough of a threat on goal through driving runs.

Arguably our two most out of form players are ESR & AP. Then Adama & Nelson. Creativity is now heavily reliant on Iwobi and Robinson. Need ESR to buck up - he’s been ok, at best. And looks completely fine with that in his body language.

Not sure we’re there yet. Has worked his way back into the team. He doesn’t offer pace. Nelson did. He’s out so this way, we get that back. He’ll be our first attacking sub, and will come back in against, say, Saints. But for big teams - Arsenal & Liverpool, the Adama threat will pose more problems

I agree with the overall sentiment. But winning a game which we were losing with two injury time goals should allay some of the “we could be 3rd” chat. We’ve been excellent but have also almost lost points in three games vs Brentford, Everton and WHU despite dominating. Room for improvement!
