When I had to draw a horse in Rutabaga I didn't take a few months to study horse anatomy and fill my sketchbook with horse sketches as I really LEARNED and UNDERSTOOD the inner workings of the horse.

I gathered reference, watched some videos, found a free 3d model, and got to work!

If you ever catch yourself asking if downloading a 3d model or taking a photo of yourself or drawing from reference is cheating ask yourself this:

"Is using Clip Studio cheating? I mean, someone ELSE made that program! Should I make my own from scratch?"

They're all tools to help you, so use them!
