Unheralded signing Carson Kelly's elite play is helping lift Cubs | Cubs News Carson Kelly's signing wasn't a flashy one this winter, but as he showed on Friday he's been incredibly valuable to the Cubs in 2025.

When spring training started in February, you probably wouldn't have had Carson Kelly as a top three acquisition for the Cubs.

Friday he showed why he's been arguably one of the best signings:
