My wife asked me to repost this in case some folks missed it.

She is de-stashing her treasure hoard of yarn. There's a lot of it. It's kinda taken over the house. I'm in the attic of the garage right now. Help?

Cover of Wiz Duo Book 2. Art by Roz Clarke.

The images are of a shield superimposed on a flying dragon, and a girl with a hole through her belly.

Love novellas? How about two in one book? In Wiz Duo 2, Juliet Kemp sends a reluctant knight on a quest, while E M Faulds gives her heroine a superpower that totally sucks.

My concern isn't the related stories feature, it's the timestamps on these. That's a heck of a lot of anti immigrant stories in a short time

Me walking to an RATP agent to figure out how to get to the train station
Someone else gets in and starts asking questions in perfect but English inflected French
Me, staring
Turns out it was a friend!
Wow

Dragons think we are amusing. But they remember Erreth-Akbe. They speak of him as if he were a dragon, not a man.

Behavioral economics: Humans vs. Econs, a history of bringing traditional economics down to earth : Monthly Labor Review : U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics

it's funny to me when people act like "Economics" is a hard science like physics when the entire field was completely overturned 10 years ago because one guy found that the premise for neoliberal economics— that humans are rational actors—was empirically false. they didn't realize this before!!

Years ago, a writer friend was passing through on tour. I didn't know him that well, but I liked what I knew of him - and when he suggested that I join him (and the other writer touring with them) to hang and sign stock, I said "Sure, let's do it." So the three of us spent a day doing that. (1)
