I think the only game i ever played with a reshade/graphics overhaul mod on, was Fallout 3, because i genuinely hate the fart filter from that game.

Every time i see a new reshade mod for Dark Souls 2, it's always some sloppy shit that kills the entire art direction of the game, and borderline makes the game uglier in most of the areas.

We had Elphet in Xrd yes, but i think HC is just next level Elphet in every way.

The counterplay now is something so absolutely hard and sweaty to understand and replicate, that is basically a filter to players that don't actually care anymore for the game.

GG Strive always amaze me in how they find ways to make the game more unfun and unbalanced each Season, and every new Season, HC is still top tier with some bullshit move that makes playing against him something absolutely unfun.

As things usually work on this industry, i totally think that the devs took feedback from the evident flaws this first game has, and the sequel will definitely nail exactly the potential of this IP.

One of the most unique experiences in gaming in my recent memory, up there with Mouthwashing for me in this aspect.

its been a good while since i played something that is clearly flawed and filled with stuff that should make me go ''man, this game is shit'', but the game was clearly made by devs filled with inspiration, creativity and passion, honestly, i'm genuinely impressed by this game's existence.
