Well. Wilford Brimley's back.

shutting down emulators and rom sites is incredibly transphobic

My favorite character design micro-genre? Science fiction Debbie Harry
I'm playing my very first game of D&D to support @takethis.org ! Come have a great time and support a great cause
And if you've never seen Scream of the Shalka you should check it out, Richard E. Grant plays a really good alternate 9th.
Patinkin was my second favorite after Falk, if you don't count the one-shot animated version with Gabe Kaplan.
(Like not a joke Paul McGann's Doctor actually is my second favorite after Baker, the Big Finish audiodramas really gave McGann some great material to work with).
- Mandy Patinkin (#8) - Columbo for the "new Columbo" TV movie, which was originally intended for a box office release but that didn't work out; well-loved but undeniably a one-off

The one thing I love about my local FGC is all the casual sets.
I saw one shitty take about Donkey Kong Bananza by someone who doesn't understand 'this is a different game' and insisted it was gross that Child Pauline was made to identify with her kidnapper, but like that's, again, fundamental brain rot/bad faith take.
Did weird people come out of the woodwork to be upset that Dad of Boi was about Dad being a dad to Boi back when it came out?

It's stupid but I miss CD caddies, one of my first PC CD drives you had to put the disc in a slightly larger floppy-style enclosure and that was fun.
I stumble crotch-first into everything and get by on a combination of absolutely stupid single-minded stubbornness (The Finnish call it sisu!) and an incredibly robust amount of luck.
Everything I know how to do was out of necessity, one way or another, and being lucky enough to survive.
I have been wildly lucky and will say as much to anyone who asks. I've had the skills to step up when opportunity called, but still, luck.
And I live with the knowledge that it could all be gone tomorrow.
I'm not sure where the joke started but people marching/running going 'hup hup hup' lives in my head, except if they're French then it's 'hon hon hon'.
McD's in Nova Scotia has lobster sandwiches during the season and maaaan I'm with you on both counts.

Fuuuuck I wasn't thinking about it when I made the joke but their kid is even named Ricky Jr, carrying on the RiRi legacy.
RiRi and his Stand, Tito.
The one Driven-like I think I actually enjoyed when I played the demo. Focuses on the platforming, combat is ACTUALLY brutal but fair (lightsaber rules for both sides), and the PC is fucking adorable.
RiRi's American Redhead
I thought it was because it made Ken hard when it hit him.
Not even an angel can resist the unyielding birbian urge to slam headlong into a window.
Folks, their idea of seconds was some spots where the red was chipped away and a sharpie fixed that shit right up.
Fun fact, I got one of the last metal versions of this sign because the one I ordered (years back) was one of the first not-metal ones (I think it was fiberboard or something) and it broke in shipping, and their response was to go "Hey so we have some metal ones left but they're seconds, that work?"
found this stupid drawing again from the bowsette years
