I am okay with "X utilization pathway" when discussing catabolism. Otherwise, "use" is almost always the better choice.

I respect Bernie, but even Bernie hasn't had maximum effect because he doesn't seem to be a team player? He's a valuable critic. And maybe he's supported younger progressives behind the scenes. I voted for him in the primary, but I'm not sure he would have been an effective president.
Yeah. I think I'm pretty agnostic on policies at this point. The big motivator for me is someone who is trying to solve problems to improve life in tangible ways, and who demonstrates an ability To do this. Even though the policy specifics are different, I like Mamdani and Buttigieg equally.
Yeah I pretty much agree. I've just only lived places with Republican governors before moving here, so that's likely my comparison. California is complex and giant.
I haven't heard much about her in the race. I really appreciated her policies and approach when she was in Congress.
Not sure on the voting.
Of course I cannot predict the future, if he follows through with the talk, I am okay with that even if it wasn't his personal default compass.
For example, I dislike Newsome as a person, and I absolutely do not trust him at the national level. But I think he did an okay job as governor.
I respect TFA and think we should have more public service short-term programs like that. But it seemed dangerously deceptive for a politician to equate TFA with being a career track public educator. He made it clear that TFA was a mere resume bullet towards this moment of running for governor...
I saw Matt Mahon interviewed by Jon Stewart and he rubbed me the wrong way by cloaking himself in "I was a high school teacher" (before launching a tech start up). He was part of Teach for America, which, while commendable, is not a commitment to public service. It's a post-uni "gap experience"
I think that's pretty fair.
I like seeing a candidate talk about justice. Talk helps action become a reality.
I don't disagree. But it seems like there's not a perfect option, as usual.
Who is your primary candidate?

I am strongly considering voting for Steyer in the primary for California governor.
This figure is very appreciated for teaching.
MacFarlane: Are we to pretend we didn’t watch all that on television on January 6th? Did we not all see what happened at the Capitol?
These vacating of convictions, these pardons, are communicating to the American people: do not believe your lying eyes
Campus could install signs to remind/teach bikes and the new electric scooters safety tips. Wearing a helmet doesn't always make a difference, but it really helps reduce severity in cases of crashes. I'm really sad to hear that a student died yesterday.

How about Associate? I am pretty sure I keep forgetting to put hair goop in my curly hair this month, and I am showing up to work like Einstein.

He's a Rhodes Scholar, served in the Navy and was an Intelligence Officer in the Afghan War, a Mayor, and the Transportation Secretary. Pete Buttigieg is a person I would gladly vote for as President. The more I see of him, the more I like. And he is a husband and a father, even more awesome.
Swalwell is unelectable. Rape is rape.
The allegations against Swalwell is rape with a capital R. Read the article.
I'm a millennial. Personally: I don't think it's reasonable that Anthony Weiner or Al Franken lost electability for bad judgement. (Context: Trump and his administration at pedophiles)
California has a term limited governor. We'll have a new governor soon.
I will *NOT* be voting for Eric Swalwell.

I don't lose money when I go to the store and buy groceries. I decide to purchase groceries.
This is terrible framing.
Governmental services do not "lose money". They spend money. Money that we have decided is to be spent on a given thing.
I'd really like to see leadership calling for impeachment and removal, regardless of whether they have the votes to get it done. Same way we called for marriage equality before we had the votes. A leader's job is to lead. If a genocidal threat isn't impeachable, then nothing is.
Remember: intent and impact are two different things. No matter the intent of “TACO” mockery, the impact is likely that Trvmp, his handlers, and his supporters perceive themselves as being mocked for chickening out on evil, which can only encourage them to follow through with the evil next time.
