GM builds and sells far more full EVs than Toyota, which are only hybrids and still ICE. Building the trucks and suburbans enables GM to invest in better EV technology. We just need a president who supports EV to make bigger strides.
As an employee I can tell you they would not exist without trucks. It’s seriously short sighted and quite hypocritical to degrade truck owners especially if you drive an ICE and oh, buy plane tickets. There are solutions but we need a government that supports it.
