SSRI’s have kept me alive for 36 years. Without them my brain will tell me that I’m a burden to everyone I know, and the world at large would be much better off without me and I’ll end it. POOF.

It hasn’t even been a month.

Donald Trump has just released a national under 18 trans care ban executive order. I am working through specifically how it tries to do this, and will live tweet here section by section as I read through it.

Pasadena Humane has seen an influx of over 300 animals due to the fires. People lined up down the block to drop off beloved pets they could not take with them when they fled their homes. Some animals arrived with burns and injuries and are being treated. Donations and fosters are needed NOW.

Happy new year. I started the year by catching and releasing a mouse. Happy to report that the information I received stating that this action is illegal was WRONG and I enter 2025 a law abiding citizen.

My college kid got sick and ended up in hospital so I flew to Portland to take care of her. Nothing like driving around an unfamiliar city at night in an unfamiliar rental car, navigating an unfamiliar hospital. But that’s all done now and she’s discharged and safe with me at an unfamiliar hotel.

My potter pals are starting to worry about tariffs on raw ingredients for glazes and such. Predicting higher prices and limited material. So that’s fun.

Generated images are looking so real. A client generated a “logo” for me to replicate but it’s an impossibility. A mom posted on a fb group that she is worried about her son who is having conversations with an ai “bot”…. It’s too much. I thought HER was silly when it came out but now it’s real.

AI is beginning to frighten me.

I’m just out here trying to exist.
