Additionally, I won’t subscribe to Paramount/HBO.

Movie theaters are a mismanaged and dying business. Whether Netflix acquired Warner Bros. or Paramount does, it doesn’t change the outcome. I still won’t go to the theater to sit around people who aren’t there to watch the movie and respect those who are.

Seriously, this is just bad. If Republicans were really laissez-faire as they claim, they wouldn't be passing these policies to protect the dealers, an unneccessary middle-man to one of the larger purchases you make in your life.

As a patron, I would highly recommend this episode (part 1 of 2 [maybe?]) from Congressional Dish. Jen actually read the "One Big Beautiful Bill" which likely puts her in the handful of people that have (including Congress). Take a listen.

Add to this the mass layoffs of government jobs and the sever reduction of funding, you have a higher pool of jobless and fewer funds to buy services/products. All the while, prices continue to rise.

If you believe the economy is doing well and that the jobs statistician was gaslighting the world, you haven't been paying attention. Stores and plants are closing, menus at restaraunts are getting simpler to reduce costs, layoffs are accelerating, and uncertainty is high.

I am aware of extensions but not having that basic feature built into the product where Edge, a Chromium browser, does is insulting. I believe Firefox also has it built-in.

For businesses and public education to only leverage Facebook is also so limiting to the customer and to the organization.

I get the simplicity of WhatsApp when compared to SMS/RCS but better options are out there that are open-source like Signal.

I struggle to understand how so many can despise Meta for their policies and actions on privacy, but then WhatsApp is so widely used globally for text messaging and SMBs heavily use Facebook as their sole way to communicate with customers.

This government doesn’t care for consumers. If you are going to blatantly allow companies perform predatory practices like this, you are anti-consumer.

I wouldn’t mind if companies did a breakdown of their products’ price to show the tariff cost. I doubt they would because why would they want to lower the price if the tariff is lowered?

I like the chart. I’ve been trying to tell others that they are likely not impacted by the change.
