Little Hocking’s water system serves nearly 10,000 people and sits between known PFAS contamination and injection wells a mile away. This is what we heard in Marietta at our press conference at the Armory:

Thousands of gallons of oil & gas waste spilled. Water contaminated. Not reported for days.
We broke down what happened at the Kleese injection well and where oversight failed.

Today, Washington County worries migration may contaminate its drinking water. Will the state act in time?

Chemical recycling like pyrolysis is being sold as a fix for plastic waste, but it’s basically heating plastic without oxygen. It hasn’t worked well and still creates pollution. Now Clean Air Act protections may be rolled back.

Join us Monday to phonebank and tell lawmakers to support SB 329 and HB 439. These bills would stop radioactive oil and gas waste from being spread on our roads.
This is simple. We call. They listen.

In about 24 hours, the Ohio EPA stops taking comments on the Google data center. Its 115 diesel generators would emit 236 tons of harmful air pollution yearly. We have stopped them before and we can do it again. Protect our air and submit by 3/25 at 11:59 PM.

@saveohioparks.bsky.social needs YOU in Columbus March 27 to help tell Gov. DeWine commission: Deny fracking 9,000 acres at Salt Fork State Park and Egypt Wildlife Area.
Decision could lock in fracking Ohio public lands to run massive, polluting data centers.

The connections are clear: The dangers of brine spreading from the Injection Wells, and the negative impact on our water and jobs that center projects would have. We have to keep using our voices and speak up and out against these threats!

“The Ohio EPA is accepting written public comments on the draft permit through March 25. After the comment period closes, the agency director will review the feedback and issue a final decision, which could take several months.”

Senator Schaffer is worried about a sealed bucket of brine inside the Statehouse. But not the millions of gallons spread across Ohio roads. If it is dangerous in a room, it is dangerous in our communities. RSVP to phonebank to support SB 329: bit.ly/ben-phonebank0330

There's far too many events of black smoke plumes coming from Freepoint, we need to continue to raise awareness about this issue and have them held accountable for allowing toxic smoke to affect our communities!

Ohio enviro folks: I’d like to crowdsource some info. Which cities in Ohio with local renewable energy transition commitments are on track to meet their goals? For those who are behind, is it because there isn’t enough available to meet demand?
