Statement from the Kingscreek Creators: Hello to all our loyal listeners. As you may have already seen, Hollow Knight: Silksong, AKA the most wishlisted game on Steam, will be releasing on September 4th, 2025- just a day after our S1 Act II premiere. This has already made at least 8 games (including Cloverpit, Little Witch in the Woods, Aeterna Lucis, and Baby Steps) push back their release dates so as to not be forced to compete with such a powerful juggernaut of a release. And so, after careful deliberation, we have come together as a team and made a decision. We have decided that we will not be delaying the release of Kingscreek S1 Act II in light of this. This was a decision we did not make likely, and for several reasons- inconvenience to our listeners, confusion, not wanting to trend hop- but perhaps the most important of all: We're a narrative podcast with 15-25 minute episodes, not an indie game, so we likely wouldn't be losing traction from this release, lol. At least one of our writers will be playing the game obsessively though, so I suppose that would theoretically affect s2 development. Thank you all so much for understanding, and we hope to see you on September 3rd!
