My thoughts today are with those who lost loved ones or are still struggling today due to #Covid. The inquiry notes UK Government did “too little, too late” and that an earlier lockdown could have saved 23,000 lives is devastating. We owe it to all those that suffered that lessons are learnt.
Kamran rightly speaks against Labour’s use of migrants as sacrificial pieces in hope to swing votes. When populist rise, it's progressive's burden to be fair. Speak on the integration and contribution from migrants. Otherwise, it's mirroring those who seek to disfranchise democratic participation.
Our asylum system has been broken by the Conservatives and by Brexit.
We need solutions that are going to work, and that’s what the Liberal Democrats are proposing.
