The new pokemon champions is uhhh.... a thing. Seems off to a rough start. But the new girl is cute, though she made me think that the creator accidentally pushed the "make the mii eyes closer" button on accident lol

I've put up a kofi poll about how in the weeds we wanna get in terms of accuracy, it has a video showing the slower rate of fire that matches the animation, or if we want to keep up the high firerate vibes. Alas they are mutually exclusive.

Continuing to chip away at 1.1, still got a lot of bugs to fix but nearly all the animations are ready, only like 2ish more to go.

The elemental gun skills are also getting a polish pass to pretty up their casing ejection and have relevant exhaust smoke.

If it was a video game, book, etc, I'd be able to convey how I feel about these things far more, even if I indulge in their aesthetics. Like how metal gear despises war but loves action movies. Its why I want fantasy stuff like cryo bullets, even if the project is a ultimately a grunt fantasy.

A "nobody asked" thing that gets in my head Operator, especially lately, is that military aesthetics unsurprisingly have a major role in propaganda, and the 360 era of FPSs that partially inspired it are especially egregious. Luckily XIV is relatively free of chuds so it hasnt been much of an issue.

I could hear a lot of complaints about gen 7 but im not sure I see it having no substance. It has easily one of the most fleshed out regions with a lot of depth towards hawaii culture and a pretty grueling look into abuse and a broken family.

I standby that theyre one of the peaks. Their only sin is that the USUM versions weakened the story and that they, like every pokemon game, dont have a skip cutscene/tutorial button. Outside of the awkwardness of sun and moon having the stronger version of the story they are fantastic 25th ani games

My not so subtle hints are that I think I can make a throne entirely through VFX, and that the auracytes of Weapons and any potential sequels are likely connected to Ultima through the Heart of Sabik... Why is Komm, süsser Tod playing... :)

To that end I don't think the endsinger or Garuda is connected to Ultima/Athena, but I do think the endsinger is probably convergent evolution so to speak. The eschaton aesthetic of biblical angels is associated with people who are going to royally mess up reality and bring about ruin.

I've been thinking of this recently and eventually wanted to do a big gpose project around it. Can't speak on the new lady but she's definitely throne-like. The headwings are very angelic, with meteion being a Greek harpy that becomes a seraph (due to being about Armageddon)
