I’ve acclimated to the Oregon biome and weather, but I still can’t bring myself to wear shorts unless it gets to maybe 90F+. Folks here are wearing shorts at 73.

Lots of folks in the shade too, and I’m here loving the sunshine I don’t get for about 7 months of the year.

My HOA wants to limit renters… My whole concern is where the hell are they going to find folks with enough of a down payment to buy these homes?!

I’ve been playing video games for 36 years. It’s still weird to me that my 8yo just bought 3 $2.99 expansions for a video game today.

I feel like we’ve taught her well so far, in terms of the value of her allowance, how far it can and cannot go, & such.

I hope she feels these purchases worthwhile.

Regardless, if you don’t, it’s a moral failing.
