Oh god yes. It's like cheap sushi. Not worth it.

Part of me thinks that is atrocious pricing. The other part of me acknowledges that a glass of wine is a tenner anywhere these days. Ouch.
As someone who has been one of those hospitality workers, tube strikes in general were a killer.
Trade was terrible but we still had to struggle in and out, adding longer commutes onto already long days.
My favourite of that genre is "women laughing at water". Sheer WTF?
Dinner plans for this week now involve the phrase "Monkey Fingers".
If ykyk.
I love a basic Marie rose but I do need LASHINGS of Hendo and tabasco. Mostly the Hendo. I want it brown. Same as a bloody mary.
I think I'm probably doing ok at the job, I'm just so used to what I did that not knowing EVERYTHING is a little weird. I'm hoping it gets a little easier soon!
I'm wall to wall HP. DIRTY amounts thereof.
Tens machine on the old shoulders? Zap them to hell?
It totally is. Simple, tasty and can be customised.... I like a filthy amount of brown sauce on mine.
My brain is a little melted after today.
Ooooh. I've not had that in forever. Sound delicious.
I am shattered. New job is crazy busy on Mondays, catching up with the workload that has built over the weekend. Still very much the new girl so everything takes me AGES.
A made dinner of champions tonight. Sausage sandwich. It's all I could face eating and it was perfect.
That plant lived for 6 years. It was my baby. The snails deserved it.
I used to come home after a night shift and take the dog into the garden. While she did her business I yeeted all the snails next door from my chilli plant.
Back in the day it was: Tramadol, diclofenac, large glass of wine and straight to bed.
The pain is worse now but I'm older and more sensible.
I just realised it's *that* Greg Jenner.
The reason for my huge crush on Al Murray for many years.
Sorry, totally unrelated to this thread by people I find really interesting. As you were.
I NEED THAT
Just in time to go for fish n chips, it is Friday.
Our nearest is Ewyas Harold but it's worth the drive!
Group hugs. It's Friday. ๐ซ
Maybe some Up Pompeii too?
A black cat asleep on a cream carpet, hiding under a blanket draped over a bed. She has a claw in the blanket so I don't move it.
I have disturbed The Nap.
Going by the claws, there may be trouble ahead?
@katebevan.com...
I should ask my mum but I can't face that convo for the next 3 months ๐คญ
Oh boy. I'm spending my lunch break doing some research then...
43... So maybe! My grandmother has my uncle at 48 so I may have a long stretch ahead of me yet...
It is literally the same two days every month, the day before and the day it starts. I'm fine apart from that so I'm fairly sure it's hormonal. I mean, I'm always tired, but that's normal.
Those two days are so difficult though. But thank you.
I'm pretty sure I'm not even IN peri yet.
My periods were always awful without hormonal control, it's only the last few years they have calmed down.
I have no calls therefore there is no singing worth doing.
ie she's buggered off.
Hang on.
*Narrows eyes*.
Hmmmm. Looks like I may have a lot of fun coming my way in a few years.
Can I ask you two about fatigue? My period fatigue is off the charts these days. Does this continue in Peri? It's a new symptom to me and I'm not a fan. Don't fancy 10+ more years of it.
Mine just shared my sandwich at my desk. I think she likes the new WFH arrangement. She slept next to me all afternoon yesterday.
