So far it looks like it's all about the basics

Have you seen Sundar Pichai's interview on the Stripe podcast? It's worth watching, as he delivers plenty of clues about search and where things are going.
I've posted a summary with some takeaways: www.linkedin.com/feed/update/...
This is asking for trouble and not very customer-centric regardless of what it looks like. Security goes first.
Watching this interview with Sundar Pichsi on The Cheeky Pint podcast where he uses the term expansionary to describe these times and stop seeing everything as a zero-sum game
A growing trend I'm seeing in social media is the use of the term mediocrity in relation to hiring and team performance. Itβs a subjective label, and we need to be careful with it.
Not everyone who struggles to keep pace is mediocre. This does not help team growth now that businesses need it most.
Two plant posts with soil and a soil bomb with seeds each
A rounded plant post with soil and a soil bomb with seeds
A lavender por with flowers
Keeping plants alive has been a challenge for me. So, in recent years I've taken an interest in that. See one result in the last picture! These are bomb seeds, a Japanese technique. I'll post about their evolution

There may be plenty of issues if something is changed pre-migration. This stemmed from an event I attended where the first question wasn't: should we do it?
I love working from home for that!
This made me laugh! "GEO, AIO, as classic SEO spamming repackaged".

Jumping to tactics isn't the best option, especially not for a website migration. However, the first question I keep finding is: should I delete URLs or leave them there?
Why hiring people then? :S
Risks is a topic no one wants to discuss, but which can be really costly in SEO and digital marketing projects.
Three tips:
- Manage risks early and build a plan against each risk
- Build feedback loops
- Align teams on what success looks like

We've been trying to achieve personalisation to now realise its drawbacks for brands, especially now with the AI. I'm currently writing about personalisation risks. Is there anything in particular you would like to read or learn about?
Just seen a new tool to uncover missed content opps. I've always thought this was a great topic for a tool, so leaving here mine montserrat-cano.com/resources/cu...

Look at the women at NASA.
They are the ones pushing the boundaries of science, solving problems most people canβt even understand, and carrying this country forward, while our politicians right now posture and stumble through talking points.
And they are doing it all with joy.π
A bit of classical ballet with a twist today.

I keep reading AI makes recommendations, but AI systems can only surface what's on their training data, so not a recommendation per se
Just seen the words SEO and expert in the same sentence
βWhat is a thing you like to learn?β
β is a good interview question for candidates at any level of seniority.
It probes curiosity, growth mindset, and attitude towards learning.
PSA Googlebot tries to render pages to understand what they look like, to better understand the value & context of your site's content. This requires that your JS & CSS files be crawlable. Don't block these files for Googlebot in robots.txt, if you want Google to understand your site optimally.
Website migrations are high-impact and risk digital projects. The risk is mostly structural. Strong project management ensures:
-Strategic ownership
-Risk mitigation
-AI/ User alignment
-Protects brand equity

Fascinating and beautiful. This has taken my worries away today
Of course. But still this is a small number compared to the many queries we could collectively make. Anyway, just a thought.
It's great to see these studies, but I can't help being sceptical. After all, how many queries and searches can anyone perform?
