That coastline can get addictive. Just avoid Cromer and Burnham Market (for very different reasons). Childhood summers in a caravan at Thornham are an idyllic memory. (For the couple of hours it wasn't blowing a gale off the North Sea π) We were in Cley in March - it got a bit posh but still ok.
Got you on the tracker π
Really sorry to hear that. Good luck on Sunday. BHF is a great cause. We will be on the streets supporting my daughter running her first marathon in memory of a dear colleague.

Iβm running the London Marathon on Sunday. I was so kindly given a place but have decided to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation in memory of my dear cousin Anne who has just very sadly died.

Nation state that didn't exist before 18th century wants to find out what they missed out on. #blackdeath #plague
ALL HAIL THE QUEEN OF BOSTON πΈ
Sharon Lokedi DOMINATES the final 5K of the 2026 Boston Marathon, locking up her second-straight title in 2:18:51.
From Mile 23 to the finish, Lokedi split a mind-blowing 15:36, including a 4:36 split in Mile 24. The next finisher was 44 seconds behind.π±
THATβS HOW YOU RUN BOSTONππ
John Korir collects his second consecutive Boston Marathon title, running a mind-boggling time of 2:01:52 to take over a minute off of Geoffrey Mutaiβs 15-year-old course record.
Korir dropped the hammer from Mile 20 onwards, winning by 55 seconds π€―
In no world would a PM with such a majority and no obvious challenger resign over an issue like this. It's obscure, nuanced and all tied up in the mists of procedure and precedent. The waste of words and indignation on it, the navel gazing: that is the real issue.
My Sunday afternoon walk perfectly described π
Massive financial gain and concentration of wealth explains just about every policy of this US administration. The whole MAGA movement has been conned, which in some ways is quite funny, although not when all of us have to suffer the collateral damage!
Do bears ....
Or even bulls for that matter.
Always follow the money
Fffffffuuuuuucccck that!
As foretold in the footballing runes itβs all going pear-shaped for N London. Other half, an Arsenal fan, like, forever, is now lying sobbing face down on the kitchen floor. Meanwhile Iβve just stepped over him to get more wine from the fridge.
A carpet of bluebells under the trees.
Cocoa the Cocker spaniel staring up from a woodland path, surrounded by bluebells.
A view across Rutland Water to the east across sheep pasture. Blue sky and high clouds.
Cocoa sniffing amongst the bluebells.
Barnsdale woods this afternoon. 9 different songbirds, a bluebell extravaganza and a dopey spaniel. And of course "the Rutland puddle".
Best of luck!
Ah but you aren't that good in play offs are you? And we gave you enough help in 2014 by going to 10 men and you blew it haha
"The only Ram in Cham" π
Forest fans laughing at both of you then π¬. I live in prime Leicester City territory here, so my QPR colours are kept discrete! Have to have a chuckle though as they "stole" our last manager (since sacked).
Leicester City are going to have to win their last 3 games to have even a glimmer of hope of avoiding back to back relegations. Who saw that coming at the start of the season? They were promotion favourites. The championship showing it's brutal side yet again.
Thanks. Yes I will bore all my followers on here with progress, starting at London Bridge Station at "sparrows fart"! π
It's a small charity, but when you are a colorectal surgeon and your mentor dies prematurely of bowel cancer, it's understandable to support the charity that he was a trustee of. We are so proud of you, Lisa β€οΈ
Showing off a sky blue IA supporter t shirt behind the Rutland Water parkrun sign. Normanton church and the water behind me and clear blue sky above.
And showing the back of the same t shirt, with the full name of the charity displayed.
Giving the "Lisa's Marathon support crew" Charity T shirt a dress rehearsal at Rutland Water parkrun this morning. Glorious conditions too.
Getting unreasonably anxious for mine, that went in on 24/3, but we are further north, granted. Do you earth them up as they show?
By this I mean that the Iranians have realized that if Trump can make outlandish market-moving claims with no evidence, they can too. And given how savvy they are about evading sanctions, it would not surprise me if some regime insiders aren't getting in on the insider trading action.
Behind unhinged cases like this: the law of trespass. A legal fiction which invents an antagonism.
It need not exist.
We need to move away from a system which encourages landowners to fantasise they're under attack simply because of the presence of another human.

Has anyone seen a big white horse roaming around? That'll be their MO.
I went to 2 games in the 1998 World Cup in France, including a semi final. Affordable and joyous. This one looks like the exact opposite.
