I think the most important thing with anything is to just get started. Be it music, art, coding, anything, just get started.

Don’t be worried about perfection or making it just right. That’ll come with time. Instead, focus on creating.

I’m glad to hear that! I’ve heard similar stories from so many people and I really think there’s another underlying piece of it all: The community.

The community is the reason I’ve not burned out on open-source and I think that the Rust community will be the reason Rust will have longevity.

I think it is how all the Rust systems come together in a way that I’ve not seen in other languages.

I’ve written Go, Python, JS/TS for years, but Rust is the best at inspiring confidence in your own code.

I can’t capture the value of Rust in one post, but I think my favorite aspect isn’t the Borrow Checker or the Type System, but how it all comes together to Correctness.

I always have more confidence in my Rust code compared to other languages, even when the tooling and tests are equivalent.
