Institutionalism ain't gonna cut it. We know our institutions have failed without the will to invest energy and activity under their auspices.
Yet, this in itself is still not understood or accepted by a great many Americans.

A dried up pile of ratshit would be a better president than Trump. Meanwhile the Biden years leave a LOT to be desired and did so much to enable Trump II
Why do MAGA nitwits have such a terrible grasp on how to use apostrophes?
I have been seeing errors and outages all over the web today. Welcome to the world of Cloud
If only that were the case...strictly observant Catholics haven't had any trouble supporting Trump in the past, even amid the glaring contradictions
I guess we'll have to see how this plays out. I think Catholics are used to living amongst contradictions regarding matters of faith and of not trying to make sense of them.
With respect, they aren't looking for "palatable". They are looking for the most abysmal pick possible to yank through an illicit confirmation process to "own the libs"...and to distract from their likely midterm debacle.
Of course they are, and of course Dems will roll over and just let them do it
I see it as a baby step forward, at very least. I think one of the big problems with the 25th now is that the process is entirely, wholly inoperable. Establishing a commission is something new, it might be able to build some momentum.
Impeachment without control of congress is untenable fer sure
LOL - in what sense does he support the Red Cross?
...have these guys ever been seen in the same room together? It's the same guy, right?
We need to deport the stylist who is making them look like this
the day is yet young
...he had a void in his chest that ultimately failed to sustain him.
I just assumed they were microwaving him back to life each morning, but yeah
Yep, there's no reason to think he'll go quietly
We shouldn't get too excited, Dick Cheney's heart held out for decades longer than it was normal to expect. Like a cockroach or a sewer rat, Trump will show a curious, unnatural survival capacity
Harris admires who, now?
They're just getting started
Huh?
Worst American ever. Full stop
And here I thought Sebby Gorka's Swastika Underoos were just a questionable style choice...
Trump's probably the worst American that ever lived, no matter how you slice it. And...that's just based on what we *know* about. We only see the top of the iceberg.
And yet...all of this has been possible for him. He is dearly loved by tens of millions of Americans.
What are we even doing?
Trump was certainly an elementary school playground bully.
He definitely STILL IS an elementary school playground bully.
He hasn't progressed one iota. He hasn't faced real consequences for this conduct ever, so how/why would he not just keep going this way, for 80+ years?
Do as I say, not as I do - Vance is on firm traditional Catholic territory here.
At first Biden postured as if he was a bridge to a new era of leadership.
Uh...how did that go? He ditched that posture entirely by the next election cycle. Another *colossal failure*.
OK but Biden owns some blame for not doing enough to bring justice to Trump and thereby ending his authoritarian coup.
Biden wanted to clap Trump on the back and say "cut it out, man..."
...and that was a *colossal failure* to understand the 4 years he had and his own unique role.
Israel "helped" by pausing the bombing in the general vicinity.
Simply glorious
Yay, let's go!!
