I haven't checked twitter in ages so I didn't really notice people complaining. The video used 20 seconds from a segment that was several minutes long. My point is that using today's design principles a mob like the creeper would need special conditions. I'm not against the creeper in any way

Love the Minecraft-y take on the nautilus’s design!

What’s interesting is both the happy ghast & now nautilus have unique baby models.
I’m curious, whether this’ll be reflected onto future & maybe old mobs with baby variants?
I think it’d be really cute if they do. Like in this mod:

Mojang has said not only that Mounts of Mayhem will reveal new Minecraft features yet to be discovered, but that they'll focus on the "mayhem" aspect.

It might be speculation, but I do believe this drop has just barely enough space for a new player-activated event, similar to raids and trial omen.

My hard guess is they’ll rework the Zombie Sieges & make them a part of the Ominous events. So perhaps drinking an ominous bottle under a certain condition can cause a Sieges Omen to occur. Perhaps adding zombie horse jockeys & the zombie giant in the mix!

Good point, but I’m still in disagreement that the ghast should not be crafted.
Grafting a golem, creaking or wither may or may not be organic but it’s still crafting life.
Plus a fluid with the powers of healing & soul sand which contains souls, makes up for crafting life.

Them being more common than gaudy tears isn’t entirely accurate, in the sense that it’s almost not guaranteed if u don’t use that method exclusively.

I agree, wonder what else leather could be used for. 🤔

It's nice to see old Minecraft features improved during the drop release system, and leather is no exception. This item was surprisingly neglected back when it was mostly used for making bookshelves.

I like being able to craft life, it’s cool & unique. plus u already could with the creaking heart.
It’s not meant to be treasure or a rare item/mob, something everyone could get & use with ease.

It’s better tbh, less clutter in ur inventory.

Surely that can get updated at some point in the future but having things that are uncommon & practical shouldn’t be gate-keeped, it’s time for that to change & actually get better items for those places.

Well it’s a relatively hard thing to do for the average player & even if done, the item could fall in lava or fire. I think it’s fine.

Nah, gives more uses to those items. Not everything needs to be a novelty uncrafte-able item.
