How will I set up pickleball matches with you, if my broken arm ever heals.

Ouch. I could have used one of those when I had a new ACL installed. Baby steps.
Fox9 reporter talking with tipsy fans at Target Field waiting out the Twins game delay. One of them shared what is going to be my new slogan for the season: “Whatever happens, happens!”
Zero, but only because I can't get to the store to buy any.
Over the winter I did a series of newsletter chats w/candidates running for Congress while holding down real jobs.
One was Kaela Berg who’s working as a flight attendant while running in MN.
Now Kaela has a full @nytimes.com feature that’s worth your time.

This is so cool, Bob. Hope to see you at the ballpark this season to say thanks.
Yes. Yes they are. Welcome back.
But MLB’s deal is with Polymarket, not Kalshi.
My first baseball season on Bluesky. I’m going to like this a lot.
I would have asked what he thought about the Kalshi guys sitting behind home plate and getting on camera constantly.
Spot on. I’ll still follow to watch the promising kids coming up, but I’ll probably go to St. Paul Saints games to do so. I used to call Target Field my happy place. No more.
Imagine how I feel. I’m a Minnesota Twins fan who knows how awful they’ll be again this year. Yet I renewed their TV streaming to watch the kids coming up. It’s baseball. I need it.
I had to read it. Then I had to watch an ESPN story about his cornhole prowess to see how he does it.
Watching her over the top rehab workouts makes me wince. She can’t accept not competing.
I let that happen because I want to see the kids coming up. This might be the first year in the past 40 that I don’t go to at least one game, though.
My Saturday night’s entertainment after breaking my arm: Lawrence Welk followed by the Rolling Stones on PBS.
I have so many questions about this story. How did he get in the water? If he jumped in, why wasn’t he in a life jacket? Why was he swimming that far from the boat? How bad was the hand injury and did the Twins know about it?
Vamos, Venezuela!
I'm not looking at my retirement investments.
Here's some nice counterprogramming for the images the world has been seeing out of Minneapolis for the last few months
I'm not watching. My husband is. I'll be in the bedroom, watching a movie or reading a book with headphones on so I don't hear that voice.
I've shared your contact info with a couple of neighbors who are there, and go there every year for six weeks.
Well, we're glad we aren't still in Puerto Vallarta. We know two neighbors who are, and they're locked down.
Yuck.
Apparently pickleball rules in Florida include stay out of the kitchen or get punched in the face.
Coming back from the economic harm is going to be a monumental task. The mental harm is going to be even harder to alleviate.
Do you know their specific concerns? Have there been incidents of ICE grabbing corporate types?
What's going on? I've heard that knee replacement either works perfectly (my husband, for instance) or ends up with constant pain.
I don't think I could stay on my feet in curling. I did get to take a bobsled run in the summer on rails at the Park City Olympic Park. But we had a pro driver. I kept my head down the whole way.
SCOOP: A look inside the ICE Forum where agents complain about their jobs and so much more.
“I'm all for removing illegals, but snatching dudes off lawn mowers in Cali and leaving the truck and equipment just sitting there? Definitely not working smarter.”
