47% of people think immigration is primarily illegal. There were 4% irregular arrivals in March
New YouGov polling. A monumental failure of our political class to educate, a monumental failure of our media to report fairly, for a generation

The Telegraph is now having to publish so many corrections to articles where it attempts to find *any angle whatsoever* to attack net-zero polices that it makes sense to start tracking them here.
These are the ones published since Labour won the election.
"We are happy to correct the record."
as kemi badenoch describes the UK's net zero goal as 'impossible', it's worth noting that the country's emissions are the lowest they've been since 1872
Oh well, let's just buy from artisanal fossil fuel companies then...
Sorry, that was facetious. This article alludes to the real problem with the industry's consolidation, regulatory capture - fossil fuel firms can set government policy in many countries. This is more-or-less impossible in solar.
I've just signed "Marks & Spencer - stop advertising on GB News" - Will you support the campaign too? actionstorm.org/petitions/ma... @StopFundingHate
Definitely get a structural engineer involved or go for ground mounted.
Happy to help such a wonderfully bothersome campaign.
If Kennedy succeeds in getting the polio vaccine withdrawn, will US insurers cover polio healthcare treatment? (My mum had polio. She would have rather had the sugar lump any day.)
Thank you for this extremely informative insight.
No company that was any good at it would give it up that easily.
Brazzaville, Congo today....🌊
@worldbollardassoc.bsky.social Is this the kind of bollard we have to put up with in Brexit Britain?
India has just installed the equivalent of the UK’s entire solar generation capacity in one year. 😲
Genius!
What the F was that? I genuinely thought they’d posted the wrong file.
Yes. And normally several times over when travelling with my husband who uses a wheelchair. I don’t know about the driver, but it makes us feel good.
Bon point! And one that I will borrow.
I imagine him as none too clean - and not in a good way…
Good to remember that we can all suffer in mid life!
And here’s the press release: aiming for 60GW (contra NESO’s scenario of 47.4GW) of solar capacity by 2030 would result in lower bills, according to an academic analysis. solarenergyuk.org/news/slash-e...
a cartoon with two panels panel one is a stick figure saying "oh! a fossil fuel!!" standing above a crudely drawn black lump under a brown ground Panel two is them walking away and saying "I'll just leave it there" The head of the person is not a drawn circle but the letter O, because the random software I used to draw it did that for unexplained reasons
Please allow me to re-share my rough sketch of some advanced carbon capture technology
Looks like Max Headroom had a baby with one of the Ingebrigtsen brothers.
Clear evidence that we are doing the right thing.
just learned the Swahili word "shagalabagala" which roughly means "chaos as usual". such a great mouthfeel on that mf
Love this pic!
I don’t buy the framing. Cheap electricity from renewables can ‘fuel’ our economic competitiveness.
Thank god you are here; my favourite x account.
