You’ll never guess this, but conservative law professors criticized the NYT’s reporting on the Clean Power Plant shadow docket papers. www.nytimes.com/2026/04/21/u...

Lol
I suppose the silver lining of trump bringing bogus, politically motivated criminal charges against a civil society group instead of prosecuting actual crimes is that some big law firm can take this on pro bono and throw dozens of white collar associates with no work to do at this.
The weekday playoffs start too late.
Mods! MODS!!
If I understand the net result of trump’s signature economic policy: no revenues, no onshoring of jobs, high prices for Americans.
The horror. The horror.
The next DOJ is going to need to make a trump corruption task force whose goal is to seize every cent to the name of this wretched family and everyone else who has profited from the most corrupt administration in American history.
From the athletic’s preview of the first round of the nba playoffs…lol
This article ignores that corruption is essentially a plank of the modern far right, which probably flows from its adoption of the Schmittian (lol) friend-enemy framework (see also Wilhoit’s law). www.nytimes.com/2026/04/16/w...
Still holding out hope for the Podz Pod Pod (the podcast where my friend and I break down Brandin Podziemski’s podcast, the Podz Pod, which I’m manifesting into existence with this post).
That’s a good one. We now have multiple ideas to pitch to the writers room.
In the finale, the (in-house?) lawyer who is still at the hospital between 9-10 pm on Saturday July 4th tells Dr. Robby that the plaintiffs want to call Mel back for more testimony. Maybe they shouldn’t have agreed to an hour-long deposition???
The Pitt season 2 check-in after the finale: I thought the season improved as it went along, but I remain haunted by the hour-long Saturday July 4th deposition. Noah Wylie, I’m available if you’re looking for a new legal consultant (which you should be).
Fortunately, we don’t have to see LaMelo Ball for the rest of the playoffs. Unfortunately, we still need to see Paolo Banchero for another round.
I love that NBA writers spent the past six weeks talking up the Hornets, who are down by 31 at the half of the 8-seed play-in game to a miserable Orlando Magic team.
Season 3 of the Pitt will jump 4.5 months to Thanksgiving and cover the 15 hours starting with the night shift (fan service!) on Thursday and ending a few hours into the post-Thanksgiving Friday day shift. Mel will be getting deposed the entire time except for the hour break she gets between 2-3 AM.
Well there you go.
Really enjoyed the season 2 finale of the Pitt, but why did all of Dr. Robby’s friends and colleagues, most of them very experienced medical professionals, confront Dr Robby about being suicidal only to let him go?
Really not enjoying how everyone is picking Knicks-Hawks as their upset favorite.
Dear Republicans, please keep trying to justify the ongoing war against Iran that trump started for no reason and is losing.
This is (inadvertently) the most accurate description of the two political parties by the NYT in at least a decade.
Unresolved father issues?
Lolololol what a weird play
Fuck Jeff Bezos
You know measured lawyer friend too?
I checked McNaughton’s website just to make sure it wasn’t one of his.
The rule of three obliged some NY Post editor to include “after” the workday in that headline, as if it’s shocking that people are drinking after work.
Yes, the blasphemous AI picture trump posted portraying himself as Jesus is a slap in the face to his Christian supporters. But, more importantly, it’s a knife in the back of Jon McNaughton, who should be considering legal action (or a new line of work).
