오늘 한 벌통 앞에 수벌들이 죽어서 떨어져 있었다...
이것은... 분봉의 신호인가

An aggregation of some kind of ground nesting bees. There were several areas along this road. This patch was 100 feet long by 5 feet wide. I estimate 10,000 nests.

알리움 9종, 푸스키니아 2종, 실라 4종, 크로커스 4종
구근을 15만원 어치를 사서 심었는데 막상 다 심고 보니 면적이 얼마 안되어서 허탈해함… 식재간격이 너무 좁았나 싶기도 하고… 저온처리 한 구근들이라 이미 뿌리랑 싹이 나오는 중인 애들도 있었음
그나저나 구근 사진 좀 찍어놓을걸 엄청 미니양파, 마늘 같고 귀여웠는데

처녀치마라는 꽃을 보았음

할미꽃과 현호색이 나란히 있으니 다르면서도 예쁘게 조화롭네

낮에는 벌통 몇 개가 바글바글 끓어서
헉 설마 벌써 분봉이…? 하고 긴장했는데 아니었음

벚꽃이 피기 시작한다
이제 벌밥 따로 안줘도 되겠다

엄청 귀여운 벌이 모래벽에 땅굴을 파고 있었는데 나와 눈이 마주친 순간 멈춰서 경계 태세를 ㅠ

Finding joy in the small things! A lovely fresh female Tawny Mining bee just emerged and was out foraging in our garden today. The Wood Spurge flowers seemed to be her favourite food! 🧡📷
