Snow wise our local mountains got about four feet of snow on average with some areas getting a bit more than that. All that snow makes the cities below feel colder. Did you get snow over there too? Hope you are keeping warm!

I’m better today than I’ve been all week but still get episodes of sneezing and coughing here and there. Thank you for asking. It’s been almost as cold here with the lowest temperature being 9 degrees the last couple of nights. I think it may have broken temp records for our city.

A week riddled with allergies, rainstorms and very cold weather. Weekend can’t arrive fast enough. Here’s to hopefully sunny days ahead. 🤞🏻

Wind has been so loud the last 3 days, it’s been rough getting a good nights rest. So ready to give up and have caffeine IV dripped directly into my bloodstream.

So happy for you, Andy. Everyone deserves to go away and get away from it all every once in a while. It sounds like it was quite lovely indeed.

Indeed. Thanks, Andy. How was your trip? Are you back yet?

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to spend time in nature on back to back weekends so I’m quite grateful that I did even if my body was quite sore both times afterwards.

So happy for you that you got to experience such grandeur and majesty, Paul. I'm sure you'll be thinking about this trip for the rest of your life. How can anyone not, right? Thanks for sharing these pictures.

It's been tough trying to be online the last 3 weeks. So many people have been snatched away and terrorized in the areas I commute. The thought that 28.7 billion has been allocated for this to continue is demoralizing. Got away from it all this weekend but I pray for those that can't do the same.

Love it. Also, this picture is making me want to watch Sing Street which of course, is a stylized version of scenes from that picture.

A beautifully restored, deluxe release of The Panther Women (1967). Everything from the artwork to the 80 page booklet is wonderful. I remember accidentally seeing parts of this film during my childhood on Mexican broadcast reruns and my parents always turning the TV off for fear it'd be too much.

I’m glad you think so and that it does! Hope the new year is off to a good start for you!

I guess what I’m trying to say is I’m in awe. 🙌🏻

Those stats are monumental. If I have to guess what mine were last year I’d say at best a quarter of what yours are but probably lower.

At the DMV this morning but I’m hopeful my fortunes will change later. 😂

I turn the air purifier at home one level up so its fan is audible just enough for my ears to hear.

The lyrics

"And I'm gone gone gone, now I'm older than movies, let me dance away, now I'm wiser than dreams" on David Bowie's Dead Man Walking hits so different 29 years later.

It's fascinating how lyrics evolve as time passes and what was once only a brilliant lyric, you feel you now embody it.

Re: all the posts. I agree and between those posts and playing this set all day today, it was the first time I've been able to joyously celebrate his passing with a touch of gratitude and a sense of "yeah, I was there when those albums came out and they changed my life". It's been a great adventure.

You're so right on both counts. I don't ever remember Black Tie, White Noise ever sounding this good. Earthling sounds so modern, even after all this time. And oh my, Toy is such a wonderful collection. His vocal performances are something else. I keep replaying Shadow Man. I could go on and on...
