And for all the hope for change, the idea that he might abandon the Bush Doctrine and work to undo all of the damage caused under W, in retrospect it just seems like an empty promise.

Just think, a billion dollars spent on the 2024 election. We lose, but the outcome doesn’t really affect all the people who worked for that campaign because they made a nice little payday.
