In-situ observations of resident space objects with the CHEOPS space telescope

I always thought satellite interference was mainly an issue for ground observatories, but CHEOPS shows it’s a problem even in space...

Thousands of trails so far detected, and with mega-constellations, up to 25% (!) of similar telescope images could be soon affected... 🛰️
