Neil, a hairless rat with hooded markings, is happily banging out the tunes on a purple toy keyboard!
happy anniversary of neil banging out the tunes! :D
aw that's such a fun image, ty!!
puff pastry rolled around peanut butter, cinnamon, and sugar
funny things I made to use up spare puff pastry. I'll call them snail rolls
bagels with everything (actually five things)
I took a cooking class to make these
the pie was very improvised and accidentally became very good. it's like a lime pie with pineapple (the limes I bought had no juice in them and I had to scramble for something acidic)
a slice of pie made with lime, lemon, and pineapple, in a graham crust. the recipe was already being modified to make it a pie, and I ran out of limes on top of that.
a cube of rice cereal with sprinkles. made with browned butter, so it's very slightly better than normal.
holiday desserts
It's trans day of visibility today, it would mean a lot to me if you could share our little game around!!
The game's core team is very queer, composed of two people and one of them is a trans man ( @lukathemouse.gay )! 🏳️⚧️
We have various flags in-game: costumes, decors and stickers for the UI!
Portal comic. Currently Wheatley is on the mainframe and GLaDOS is a potato. Wheatley: Look, for the record, I'm just saying that I THINK that within the next 2 years. AI will have replaced most major pollinators. GLaDOS: ...Just keep pretending to ignore him, he'll probably... The text on Chell's shirt: Agreed. We should ignore him. GLaDOS: Are... you? Doing that? On purpose? With your shirt? The shirt: No, I am the shirt. Please don't let the person wearing me know I can do this.
GLaDOS (to Chell): Hey, I need you to lift me up so I can get a good view of your upper torso. For... normal reasons. Chell complies. GLaDOS: Thanks. The shirt: You really know how to talk to the ladies! GLaDOS: Come on. The shirt: Anyways. Want to know my deal? I'm the ghost of Cave Johnson. Told the lab boys to make me immortal. Didn't say how. GLaDOS (shorting out in surprise): WHAT??? The shirt: Hahahaha. No I'm fucking with you.
GLaDOS (to Wheatley): Hey, you up there! Wheatley: Hah, are you finally gonna admit I'm right? GLaDOS: No, I need you to look at the human's shirt. And tell me what it says. Wheatley: ...That's a trick question innit. GLaDOS: No, I actually want to know. Wheatley: You're trying to make me stare at a woman's chest so I look sexist. GLaDOS: I'm asking you an actual question. Wheatley: I've never done it, ever. Don't even know what they have there. Never will, because I'm not sexist. Or maybe this is an advanced ploy to make it look like I can't read. I can, I mean I do, so much. Love books. Been reading the Odyssey. Not sure if you know that one, but I'm already on the part with his son... GLaDOS: That's the start of the book. Wheatley: SHUT UP!!!!! SHUT!!!! UP!!!! Chell looks down at her shirt to see the text says "get ketchup on me for twenty extra points".

kind of incredible to see something I worked on on the front page of the sale

Steam News letterhead that reads the following message: Wow. I’m writing these final words before we press the big scary Release button on STARWEAVE and finally see our efforts presented to the world. I can only hope, as I usually do, that my work, our work, finds purchase in the hearts of our players the same way its earnest bid for the world gripped the team as we developed it. We want STARWEAVE to be a story that touches hearts, that acts as a light in what is resigned to always feel like dark, cruel times. May our game convince you to create little revolutions of your own, to get out there and put action to compassion, to change the brutal systems that ordain our lives. I hope our game changes something, however small, about the way you think about the world around you: the capacity you have to see our complicated and contradictory world from the eyes of another, to wholeheartedly understand the circumstances behind why we lob hatred and scorn towards those we find other, to hold a burning and impelled compassion for all that is broken and unfair about the cycles that control us, and to do something to end them. Donate, protest, speak up, act, and strive for revolution. Workers’ rights, human rights, peace for the war-torn, equity for the disadvantaged, unapologetic social justice. In a world where shortsighted complacency is easy and safe, do the hard thing and truly consider what binds us to a life that could be better in as short as tomorrow. Refuse the status quo and strive for what broken Beacons could beget us, how much kinder the world might be if we forged a revolution with our compassion. Thank you, children of the stars. Remember what progress each past generation has granted us, and what we can grant to everyone who still comes after us.
and lastly, some final words on STARWEAVE from myself. ⭐

the sponge cake didn't rise enough so instead of 3 layers we got 2 with remaining cherry filling going on top
it's interesting, not very sweet but it lets the cherry stand out more. I put some maraschino in it and I can't tell if it did anything
