This just fucking sucks... I've loved going to furality the past 3 years, especially for the DJs and getting to see the really cool worlds, but it's simply not worth giving up your privacy for.

I urge you to (very!) respectfully contact the Furality team and urge them to stop asking for ID/face scans of their attendees.

I was really hoping that @vrchat.com would do the right thing before Furality this year and break off their relationship with Persona, and find an age-verification vendor who wasn't tied into Peter Thiel's democracy-crushing surveillance machine.

But I guess I'm just not going to Furality this year

Funnily enough, lastfm pulls from MBz's database, it just takes forever to update and usually requires manual intervention anyways since it doesn't pull that much data
