Sarah’s Story
She went about her day—unaware.
Every move tracked. Every stop logged.
A silent watcher in her pocket.
She couldn't see it. But it saw everything.
This is unauthorised surveillance—
and it turns everyday life into a map of control.

They tried to rewrite her truth with a deepfake.
Nakigudde gathered evidence, reported, and spoke out.
Experts verified the lie. The truth went public.
Step by step, she reclaimed her name.
Disinformation can spread fast—
but so can truth.
The email came first:
“Contract terminated.”
Then the video.
Her face. Her voice.
But none of it was real.
A lie, engineered to look like truth.
This is deepfake abuse—
and it can destroy trust in seconds.
They exposed her life—but she fought back.
Nalongo documented the abuse, reported it, and pushed for action.
Investigations followed. A takedown was ordered.
Step by step, her safety was restored.
Doxxing is violence.
And justice is possible.
Part 1- Nalongo’s Plight
They didn’t just target her—they exposed her life.
Her home. Her children. Her safety.
Leaked. Shared. Weaponized.
Now the calls won’t stop. The fear follows her home.
This is doxxing.
And it turns private lives into public danger.
They tried to drown her out.
Bukirwa built solidarity, documented every attack, and took control of her digital space.
Then she reported—with evidence.
The system isn’t perfect. But she kept going.
Resilience is her strategy.
And her voice still stands.
Bukirwa’s story
She spoke the truth.
They answered with lies.
Harassment. Smear campaigns.
Relentless, coordinated, and loud enough to push her offline.
Bukirwa’s story is a reminder:
When women speak out, the backlash is often weaponized.

Sofia’s Pursuit for Justice
She refused to stay afraid.
Sofia documented everything—screenshots, timestamps, evidence.
She reported, secured her accounts, and sought legal and community support.
Step by step, she turned fear into action.
Now, her case moves forward—on her terms. #endtfgbvtogether
Part 1 - Sofia’s Story
“Was the coffee delicious?”
Then another
And another
Someone was watching. Tracking.
Turning her everyday routine into fear
Sofia ran—but the threat followed
This is cyberstalking
And it steals more than privacy—it steals safety.

Part 2 - Awila’s quest for Justice
They tried to trap her with fear and silence.
But Awila chose not to pay.
She sought help, secured her accounts, and spoke out.
Step by step, she reclaimed her likeness, her peace, her power.
Justice wasn’t perfect but it was hers.
Awila’s story
Weeks of trust.
Then the shift. A demand!
Now it’s 2am. Kampala is quiet
Awila stares at her screen—alone, cornered
No applause. No audience.
Just the trap closing
This is sextortion.
And too many face it in silence

Part 2 - Nankya Finds support

But Nankya chose action-documenting evidence, reporting the abuse, and seeking support
Step by step, the content came down And she took back control Survivors of TFGBV deserve systems that work

Part 1 - Nankya’s Story
In a second, everything unravels.
Her private photos leaked, shared, consumed Online, the verdict is already in But all she can think is:
"Has my daughter seen?"
This is not scandal. This is TFGBV.
When did violation become content?

We have joined the Umoja Women's run - a powerful initiative to raise awareness and funds for shelters that offer holistic support to survivors of gender-based violence, including those affected by online abuse. Let’s ensure that every survivor online or offline has somewhere safe to turn.
Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence is an alarming and growing form of abuse that extends beyond the digital space, it deeply impacts the psychological wellbeing of survivors. We recognize that survivors of TFGBV need safe spaces, psychological support,to rebuild their lives.
In today's digital age, young people spend more time online than ever before, making it crucial to equip them with the skills to navigate the internet safely.
