Late night rantings of an mid lifer but, man, fuck generative AI. Like, it's so annoying, fake, awful, there's no satisfaction cause it's just fake, it's make believe in the worst way possible. It's forever trying to dream and no matter how many times you try, it's just uninteresting.

The theater thing feels like a power play to not sell out to a big corpo, but to become a controlling entity. "You're indie and want to grow? Join us!". I don't know anything about Kevin and being indie isn't a free pass avoid skepticism. I've seen "Yeah, Fuck Nintendo/Disney/Apple" too many times.

It's hard to balance making content for love and they need to make money. This feels less like "power to the indies" and more "think of how much more money we could be making", which I personally view as sus, but people online do seem to support this as long as it's indie only. Call me paranoid.

My biggest fear is Disney or Illumination getting really fucking cute by making "indie" content to continue butting out groups like Glitch. That or Glitch becomes the thing keeping other indies out once they get the foot in. I've seen plenty of heroes becoming the villains.

Beat Pokemon X l, its been a long time since I last beat XY and I remember why Gen 6 is my favorite.

I've also recently beaten Yellow, Fire Red and Sword. I'm thinking Sun next.

I think it makes sense, they live in an era with limited tech available to the masses, live in villages with only like, 100-1000 people max, and the vast majority can't travel to other lands.

In a world with that limited of communication/exploration, a week long friendship would feel like months.

One thing I see people talk about with One Piece is how the Straw Hats have been together, including time skip, for barely a year in total and how it's weird they're so close and would die for each other. [cont.]
