You never really realise how fast you're going till you hit something that's standing still

I remember resolving that if I ever met someone who couldn't control their verbal tics, I would make sure they understood that they never needed to feel shame around me. Sounds childishly righteous I know, but I was literally a child, and I was really shaken up by how debilitating it looked.

First time I heard of Tourette's with coprolalia was on a medical drama as a child. Even at that young age I remember thinking about how much of a toll something like this would take on the lives and mental well-being of the patients, their family and loved ones.

Actually, the stream was pretty loud; no disrespect to Christina Rossetti.

This is a view of Saturn's north polar region, taken by Cassini's Imaging Science Subsystem (ISS) on February 26, 2013. You can see the rings in the top of this image as well as its mysterious hexagon.

This composite is made of images that were taken by Cassini's camera system, the Imaging Science Subsystem (ISS) on February 26, 2013 and received on Earth February 27, 2013. The camera was pointing toward SATURN at approximately 347,141 miles (558,670 kilometers) away, and the images were taken using the red, green and blue filters.

A poly-lobed Merovingian gold fibula (brooch). The gold front plate is attached to a copper alloy core by 8 silver rivets. The plate is ornately decorated with gold filigree, cloisonné garnet inlay, and nine glass paste cabochons (one large glass cabochon is mounted in the centre and eight smaller cabochons around the rim). The 71 garnets adorning the fibula come from Bohemia.

This ornate brooch was found during the 2008-2009 excavations ahead of major renovation works at Grand Place in Quaregnon. The excavations uncovered a small Merovingian cemetery. The brooch comes from the tomb of a 7th-century female known as the ‘Lady of Quaregnon’. In addition to the brooch, her other items of jewellery included a necklace, bracelet, copper-alloy pins, and a pair of copper-alloy bow brooches.

If you were on Saturn, you’d quickly learn how reflective the rings are…

The rings reflect sunlight and illuminate the night side. Instead of moonshine, it’s Ringshine!
